Florida National Guard Senior Army Advisor Col. David Rodgers holds a package of soil from the Le Mans region of France, where Florida National Guard Soldiers fought during World War II. Rodgers has initiated a project to consecrate the parade field in front of the historic St. Francis Barracks in St Augustine with soil from battlefields around the world where the Florida National Guard has fought.
